Beita Temple, Shenyang - Tripadvisor
Beita was one of four such temples built around Shenyang - east, west, south and north. one of the four towers. According to the monument inscriptions the temple is a symbol of the four "King Kong Megatron Quartet" that protect the country. The North Temple is the most completely preserved of the four.

August 27, 2011 - Leaving Shenyang's Banruo Temple, I walked up the side of the property and, after a few wrong turns, found my next destination: Ci'en ("Compassion") Temple, the 60th I would visit from my list. This is one of the oldest temples in Shenyang, if not the oldest. It was first built in the Tang Dynasty, and rebuilt in the Ming.
